How to stop junk mail and unsolicited telephone calls
(NC)—Concerns about unwanted junk mail and telemarketing are common among Canadian consumers. According to information on Industry Canada's Consumer Information Gateway website The Canadian Marketing Association (CMA) offers a Do Not Mail/Do Not Call Service for people who prefer not to receive mail and telephone solicitations at home. You can write the CDMA and have your name removed from marketing lists held by CDMA members, who account for about 80 per cent of direct response sales in Canada.
